About me

My name is Daniel "DanGilmore". I started overclocking in early 2006 and first got in touch with XOC and HWBOT in mid 2009. After submitting some results with regular cooling solutions I wanted to overclock my hardware even further and made my first subzero experience. After that I was hooked and even though I had some less active years I never stopped.

When I first got into the hobby I was still in school but many things changed since then. I got a bachelor and masters degree in mechanical engineering and spent a couple years working in the field before discovering that my interest in electronics had grown over the years. I started modding more and more hardware and also got into the professional side of electronics namely hardware development.
